Berry Timeless Alumroot

Berry Timeless Alumroot has attractive light green foliage frosted with silver and a repeat blooming habit that supplies lovely two tone pink and rose flower plumes all summer. This is a heat and drought tolerant Heuchera villosa hybrid which repeat blooms from early summer until frost. The flowers emerge a delicate pink and age to a darker rose. When finished blooming the flowers remain attached and dry as an attractive plume. The leaves form a compact light green mound with a silver overlay, the leaf color complementing the pink and rose flowers. Berry Timeless Alumroot will mature to 10 inches tall, 20 inches wide and the flower scapes will increase the height to 20 inches when in bloom, and when the inflorescences dry in place. It prefers partial shade but will tolerate full sun. In milder climates the foliage will remain attractive over winter. Resistant to deer, attractive to birds and bees. This lovely selection was introduced by Walters Gardens in 2014.
