Redvein Enkianthus

Creamy yellow, bell-shaped flowers with red veins and tips are produced in nodding clusters from near the tips of the stems on this attractive shrub. Bluish-green leaves change to a variety of yellow and red shades in the fall. For success in the Chicago region, the garden soils must be modified to provide an acidic pH with good drainage while still maintaining the soils' ability to retain moisture throughout the year.
