Coneflower

The brilliant red-orange flowers of coneflower ‘Tomato Soup’ add spice and fragrance to the garden. This perennial grows in clumps 30-inches tall and 24-inches wide and flowers from May to October. Tolerant of drought heat and humidity, ‘Tomato Soup’ prefers full sun to part shade in well-drained soil. During the summer, the plant will attract butterflies. Leave the dead stems with the flowerheads attached in winter and it will attract birds. For a delicious combination, pair with Coneflower ‘Mac ‘n Cheese.’
