Linda Dzuris became the first university carillonneur of South Carolina’s Clemson University in 1999 and is a professor of music in the department of performing arts. She received her bachelor of music, master of music, and doctor of music degrees in organ performance and church music from the University of Michigan. Dzuris studied carillon in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with additional study at The Netherlands Carillon School in Amersfoort in the Netherlands. Dzuris is a performance instructor of the North American Carillon School (NACS). Dzuris has served on the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America (GCNA) Board of Directors and currently serves as an adjudicator on its Associate Carillonneur Evaluation Committee. She has been a featured guest artist in carillon concert series throughout the United States, the Netherlands, France, and Switzerland. Her original carillon compositions are published by American Carillon Music Editions.
