Supplier Diversity Program

The Chicago Botanic Garden is pleased to announce the implementation of our Supplier Diversity Program. The Garden is committed to enhancing the economic opportunities for minority and women owned businesses that provide our institution with goods and services.

On December 13, 2012, the Garden’s Board of Directors adopted a Supplier Diversity Program that sets incremental steps over the next five years to reach the goal of 35 percent of goods and services purchased from certified minority and women owned businesses. One important aspect of the new Supplier Diversity Program is a new bidding procedure that requires submission of quotes from minority and woman owned businesses for any contract more than $5,000. Please see our policy document below for more detail.

If you are a certified minority or woman owned business, please see the list of current projects, goods, or services that is currently open. Additionally, if you would like to be notified electronically of new postings, please complete the Certified Minority and Women Owned Businesses information form below including details regarding your current certification.
