Join us for a morning of solo violin and cello classics with musicians from The Academy of The Music Institute of Chicago (MIC). The Academy is a nationally recognized training center for highly gifted pre-college pianists and string players.  The rigors of the comprehensive curriculum are suited to musicians who plan to pursue conservatory training and a professional career in music.  The goal of the Academy is simple - to make aspiring young people the best musicians they can be.

The Music Institute of Chicago (MIC), a community music school for all ages and abilities, with over 1,500 students across locations in Chicago, Downers Grove, Evanston, Lake Forest, Lincolnshire, and Winnetka, leads people toward a lifelong engagement with music through unparalleled teaching, exceptional performances, and valuable service initiatives that educate, inspire, and build strong, healthy communities.
