The Music Institute of Chicago (MIC), a community music school for all ages and abilities, with over 1,500 students across locations in Chicago, Downers Grove, Evanston, Lake Forest, Lincolnshire, and Winnetka, leads people toward a lifelong engagement with music through unparalleled teaching, exceptional performances, and valuable service initiatives that educate, inspire, and build strong, healthy communities.  String quartet members Shaelyn Wu and Austen Wu violins, Kate Flint, viola, and Paul Adant, cello, will perform movements from Mozart and Beethoven Quartets, and duo Marielle Roselli and Lavie Huang will perform movements from Beethoven's Duo for Violin and Cello.  Violinist Emily Chen, a member of the Academy, a nationally recognized training center for highly gifted pre-college pianists and string players, will perform Paganini Caprice and solo Bach. Emily is a member of the Academy Orchestra and Piano Trio Scaleno.  Please join our students for a morning of classical music with the lovely Garden backdrop.
