This plant may be found in the wild, but is introduced (native to , not invasive).  The plant forms a 6” mat with stems 10” long. The leaves are arranged in whorls of three along the long stems. It blooms with yellow, star-shaped flowers in late spring and early summer. It prefers full sun in rocky or loamy well-drained soil.
