Lesser Glory of the Snow

Native to western Turkey, Scilla sardensis is a clump-forming bulb producing showy blue flowers with little to any white in the center of the flower. It flowers in late winter and early spring. It grows to a maximum height of 6 feet under full sun to partial shade with moderate moisture conditions. The plant is used as a ground cover or as a specimen in a border. It is resistant to deer.
