'Gold Coin' Scots pine is noted for its bright golden yellow foliage in winter. Foliage eventually fades to light yellow-green by summer. It forms an irregular, broad pyramidal cone to 4-6 feet tall and to 2-3 feet wide over the first 10 years, eventually reaching 2 feet tall and 15' feet wide. Grow in full sun as a specimen plant – it is resistant to deer.
