Armenian Grape Hyacinth

Muscari armeniacum'Blue Spike' is an improved selection of this species featuring branched inflorescences (usually there is a single spike) of large double flowers in soft blue. Rabbits sometimes nibble the foliage in very early spring, but they have typically found something tastier to eat by the time the flowers are produced in late April to early May.
