'September Charm' Japanese anemone (Anemone × hybrida ‘September Charm’) begins producing large pink flowers that dance in the breeze atop long, wiry stems from late summer until frost. A hardy perennial, this species requires constantly moist soil in a slightly shaded setting. The plant will slowly clump up over time if it is moderately satisfied with the site you have selected. It will rapidly increase clump size if it is very satisfied with the location. Unsatisfactory locations result in a swift death; this is not a plant for slow, lingering farewells.
