Described by the breeder as having "lollipop lilac blooms over compact green foliage" this non-hardy perennial thrives in well drained soils, full sun and moderate to low fertility throughout the growing season. Effective in containers and fronts of flower beds where the shorter stature fulfills a design aesthetic. Insect and disease resistant it is also favorite of a number of bees, other nectar feeding insects and hummingbirds. Acrid compounds in the plant sap deter rabbits and deer from feeding on it.
