Chestnut Vine
Insignificant whitish flowers document its kinship to grape vines, as do the tendrils that help it climb up to 30 feet in frost free climates. Large palmately compound green leaves and chocolate brown trunk (with age) are the primary characteristics it is grown for. One of several species in this genus that host the largest flowers in the World - the parasitic genus Rafflesia.
