This non-hardy sage features magenta purple flowers springing from burgundy calyces above the green foliage from spring through the first hard frost of fall (usually around mid-October in Chicago area). A pollinator magnet, it attracts both pollinating insects and hummingbirds to the landscape. The Australian hybridizer is donating a portion of the sales to support Make-a-Wish Australia.
