Hot Lips Baby Sage
Striking red and white flowers are produced from mid-summer right up to the first hard frost of fall on this nonhardy perennial native to North America. Fine textured medium green leaves are resistant to pests and diseases. Plant this salvia in full sun and in the warmest microclimate in the garden, and once established, water only enough to pull the plant through periodic droughts. Pollinating insects and hummingbirds are strongly attracted to the flowers.
