White Mischief Mexican Sage
White Mexican bush sage (Salvia leucantha 'White Mischief') has long slender, white, fuzzy/soft flower spikes that sit above a mound of bright green, short, strap-like foliage. Although it performs better in full sun and watered regularly, it can handle some shade and some drought. Excellent as a cut flower, attracts pollinators, and tolerates pests such as deer and gophers. It is hardy to zone 9 and is used as an annual at the Chicago Botanic Garden.
