Shrub Rose
Chosen by Midwest Living magazine as their favorite rose in 2006, this bushy, shrub-like plant grows to 3 to 4 feet and is coated with clusters of velvety red, semidouble flowers from mid-June to October. This patented hybrid is a cross between 'Radvel' and 'Country Dancer'. Disease-resistant and hardy, it sports semiglossy, dark-green foliage and has some resistance to black spot. In the fall, its leaves turn deep burgundy, and bright red hips appear.
