White Pasque Flower
Pasque flower is great for rock gardens. In late March or early April, large, six-petaled flowers are produced singly on fuzzy stems; they are white with a showy center of yellow stamens. Plumed seedheads have ornamental value in the summer garden. This plant forms a basal rosette of leaves that are extremely hairy when young. The pasque flower is a true harbinger of spring, and one of the earliest perennials to bloom.
