Virginia Pine
Native to the Appalachian Mountains, ‘Wate’s Golden’ is an irregular, slow- to medium-growing Virginia pine that is best known for its outstanding golden foliage in winter. It grows 15-30 feet tall in an open pyramidal habit. The branches are spreading, while the top forms a flat-topped crown. Needles emerge yellowish green but turn bright gold in cold winters, providing winter interest.
