Plant 'Miss Mary' in full sun and in fertile, moist soil, where it will grow to 24 inches and produce brilliant red star-shaped flowers from July to August. It is highly resistant to powdery mildew. It is attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. The x arendsii phlox are the most magnificent, and there is a huge selection of colors and sizes to choose from.
