Garden Phlox
Phlox paniculata ‘Dresden China’ stands 28 inches high and blooms in mid to late summer with fragrant pale pink flowers that have darker eyes. The flowers are 1½ inches in diameter and occur in clusters. The plant is attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies and is hardy to zone 4. The genus name is from the Greek word phlox meaning flame in reference to the many bright colors of some varieties.
