Pendant flaring yellow flowers are tipped in green with multiple flowers per inflorescence on this native of Ecuador. Among the showiest of the members of this genus due to the flaring characteristic of the petals. Grow in full sun, humus rich soils and provide for a cool dry dormancy period to initiate flowering. Flowering typically takes place 8 weeks after watering commences (to break the dormancy).
