Jade Princess Ornamental Millet

Compact, upright mound of corn-like chartreuse leaves are topped by dense, rich brown flowering spikes from late spring up to frost. This cultivar produces no pollen, eliminating the possibility of reseeding in the garden. Plant it in warm, moderately rich, well-drained soils in spring. Pick a spot in the garden where its height and shape can contrast with the other perennials and annuals in the display.
