Red Rays Switch grass is an upright clump-forming ornamental grass that grows to a maximum height of 5 feet. It requires full sun to partial shade and moderate to wet moisture conditions. Between July and February it produces showy, pink tinged blooms. Later seed plumes are attractive to birds. The plant can be used as a specimen, in a hedge, or in a border.
