Sprenger Lycoris
This plant is native to Japan and parts of China. In early spring, dark green, strap-like foliage appears. In late summer, early fall clusters of pink flowers with bluish mottling appear on 1.5 foot stems. As an extra treat, the flowers are fragrant. They require rich, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade.
