This is an irregular, vase-shaped, low-growing evergreen shrub with attractive soft gray-green foliage. It prefers full sun, good drainage, and moderate moisture and is hardy to USDA Zone 4. It is a slow-growing juniper, only reaching 3 feet in height and 4 feet in width. This shrub would be appropriate as a garden specimen plant or cultivated as a bonsai.
