The blooms of Mardi Gras™ sneezeweed (Helenium 'Helbro') open yellow with orange-red edges to the petals but mature to red with yellow edges. The combination of younger and older flowers provides a bright, colorful display. This cultivar grows to 40 inches by 36 inches. Plant the sneezeweed in full sun and moist soil. Pollinating insects are attracted to the flowers, and songbirds enjoy the seeds.
