Geum ‘Solid Gold’ is also known by its common name of avens. It stands 12 to 18 inches tall and blooms in late spring to early summer. The flowers are gold, semi double, fringed and wavy. They flowers face upwards and measure 1 ¼ inches across. The foliage forms a mounded clump of foliage 10 – 12 inches high. Plant it in full sun or partial shade.
