Ruby-colored flowers on tall spikes rise above the mounded foliage throughout the growing season on this nonhardy cultivar of foxglove. The outward-facing flowers enhance the display qualities. Plant this foxglove in partial shade and in moist, well-drained soils; mulch to retain soil moisture. All parts of the plants contain cardiac glycosides and other bio-active compounds.
