Double, waterlily shaped, deep velvety red flowers carry a faint scent of chocolate. Deep green, verging on black foliage and black stems complete the ornamental characteristics of this cultivar.

Fragrance in dahlias is very rare and the chocolate scent is carried in only one species that was only recently moved to the genus Dahlia from Cosmos.
