This mat-forming perennial grows to a height of only 8-12 inches in full sun to partial shade and with dry to moderate soil. From late spring to early fall it blooms repeatedly with blue, lavender, and purple flowers. A native of Croatia, this plant is useful in a border or rock garden. The bell-shaped flowers attract bees and butterflies.
