This rounded shrub grows to a height of 2 feet with full sun to partial shade and dry to moderate moisture conditions. In the spring it produces showy yellow to yellow-green flowers. It is good in a hedge or a border and is resistant to deer. It is reputedly a sterile cultivar that will not self seed. It maintains its mounded shape without pruning. Its berries will persist through winter providing additional interest.
