Variegated Sweet Flag

This grass-like plant grows in a clump 2½ feet tall and 2 feet wide. The sword-shaped leaves are variegated with a white stripe. It can grow in boggy conditions (it is a marginal aquatic) and must be kept constantly moist. It should be planted with its container sunk into the ground to prevent aggressive spreading. It prefers partial to full shade.
