Coastal Joe Pye Weed
Baby Joe Pye weed is a cultivar of a native plant of the eastern parts of North America. As its name suggests, Baby Joe is a diminutive form reaching only 2 feet in height and 3 feet in width. It bears lavender-rose flowers in late summer and early fall which are loved by pollinators and with its shorter stems the flower heads tend to remain upright and not flop over.
This plant requires consistent soil moisture and prefers full sun. It is an excellent plant for a border and will naturalize freely.
