Erika Anderson is an associate carillonist at the University of California, Berkeley, where she loves introducing new visitors to the carillon at her weekly recitals. She grew up in the very musical town of Bloomington, Indiana, but started playing carillon after moving to the University of California, Berkeley for her Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology. She studied with Jeff Davis and became a carillonneur member of the Guild of Carillonneurs of North America (GCNA) in 2022. Anderson co-organized Berkeley Carillon Festivals in 2023 and 2024 and serves as a member of the GCNA Bulletin committee. She works as a postdoctoral scholar doing biology research at the University of California, San Francisco.
