Elien Van den Broeck (b. 2003) began her carillon studies in Peer, Belgium at the age of nine under the tutelage of Erik Vandevoort. At a young age, she had already won two international carillon competitions in Deinze and St. Amand-les-Eaux. In her hometown of Meerhout, she was awarded the municipal culture prize for her achievements in carillon performance. She has performed concerts on various carillons throughout Belgium and the Netherlands. In 2018, Van den Broeck was appointed carillonneur of the Abbey of Mol-Postel. She graduated from the Carillon School in Mechelen at the age of 16.
