Photographing Raptors

Participate in this incredible annual program, the Raptors in Focus Photoshoot, an opportunity to photograph birds of prey up-close and in a natural setting. The first session will be held at the Chicago Botanic Garden to prepare you for the photoshoot event with tips and techniques. The second session will be held at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center in Milwaukee, providing a guided opportunity to photograph eagles, hawks, falcons, and owls on the trails in natural settings. Fee includes the $100 event registration fee. The course cost is nonrefundable and must be purchased by March 1, 2026. This class requires a DSLR or mirrorless camera, telephoto zoom lens (300mm or greater), and a tripod. Transportation is on your own. A map will be sent. Prerequisite: Experience with DSLR or mirrorless camera. 

The School’s CEUS=4 hours FPC elective.
