New! Let your color imagination loose by painting from black and white photos. Since these images capture the various light, middle, and dark values without color, this approach strengthens value awareness while separating color decisions from tonal accuracy. You will be free to engage your artistic color senses to interpret the scene. By releasing yourself from the palette of colors recorded in a photo, you will gain a greater understanding of the powerful role that values play in a watercolor painting. A supply list will be sent. Prerequisite: Botanical Drawing 1 or permission from the instructor.
