New! Explore the world of coiled pine needle basketry in this hands-on workshop. Learn about cultures, in the United States and abroad, that practice this technique, while being guided through the process yourself. You will learn the basics of sustainable collection, cleaning, and preparation of pine needles and then embark on the process of coiled basketry using raffia as the binding thread. Form a base, build walls, and finish with a secure closure. All skill levels welcome. Lunch is on your own. All supplies included. Additional pine needle bundles will be available to take home.
