Join Tim Pollak, Plant Production Manager, for a guided tour of the Chicago Botanic Garden's Production Greenhouse and discover how the horticulture team propagates and grows many of the plants featured throughout the Garden each year. With a special focus on seed starting and plant production, Tim will share the techniques, tools, and planning that transform tiny seeds into the spectacular seasonal displays enjoyed by Garden visitors. Learn about the growing process, greenhouse operations, and the vital role seed propagation plays in supporting the Garden's collections and landscapes. This is a members-only event. Space is limited to 30 participants and registration is required. Participants should be prepared to stand and walk throughout the tour, as no seating will be provided.
