King of the North European Grape

Discovered in an old neighborhood in Madison Wisconsin, this cultivar is a hybrid of 2 American species, Vitis labrusca and Vitis riparia. Dark blue tart medium sized berries are produced on hardy vines in fall.

Grapes were one of the seven plant species brought to Moses by spies he sent into the land of Canaan.
