Grape Hyacinth

Muscari armeniacum 'Cantab' originates from southeastern Europe including Armenia and is commonly known as Grape Hyacinth. It grows 6 – 9 inches high and blooms in spring, slightly later than other Muscari, with mildly fragrant sky blue flowers. Each scape has 10 – 20 flowers densely packed in a cone that resembles an upside down bunch of grapes. Plant it in full sun to part shade. It is resistant to deer and hardy in zones 4 – 9.
