Serbian Bellflower

Growing only 6 or 7 inches tall, it has slender trailing stems that spread three times as far; its leaves are quite small, only 1-inch long. It makes a wonderful ground cover or rock garden plant. Blue star-shaped flowers about 1 inch in diameter cover the plant in spring. A dainty and profuse bloomer, this early spring-flowering bellflower is native to Yugoslavia.
