This maple is native to Taiwan and parts of China. Its smooth bark is green with thin, waxy, white stripes. The leaves are broadly palmate. It can grow to a height and width of about 30 feet. Fall color may be red, orange or bright yellow. This tree is hardy to Zone 7 so it is not reliably hardy here.
