The wire vine is a perennial ground cover that is hardy in USDA Zones 6 to 9. The wiry stems provide a contrast for the glossy green foliage. While it will only grow to 2 to 4 inches tall, it can spread 30 inches. The flowers are insignificant but will produce translucent fruits, which are quite attractive.
