How's your habitat? Join us to learn how you and your students can take action to improve wildlife habitat on your school grounds. Learn basic habitat design and development techniques and assess what is already on the school grounds and what might be missing. We'll discuss utilizing the habitat to the support the school curriculum. Become aware of grant opportunities and obtain supplemental materials to help you get started with your own schoolyard habitat development. To register please visit the IDNR's ENTICE website.

Creating a Sustainable Garden with Your Students

Earth Partnership for Schools Summer Institute

Earth Partnership for Schools (EPS) is an in-depth, hands-on curriculum that explores local ecosystems and the creation of a native school garden using cross-curricular activities and lessons. Learn about plant identification, native ecosystems, garden design, habitats, data collection, and more. Registration preference is given to teacher teams of two or more participating staff from a school or school district. Tuition scholarships may be available upon written request.
