All visitors—including Garden members—must preregister. There is no entry without a reservation. You only need to register for your car, not the number of people who will be visiting. This is necessary for the health and safety of all. We will limit the number of cars, and people, to avoid overcrowding and and jeopardizing the ability of people to safely social distance.

Illinois primary and secondary educators receive free parking weekdays only, except Wednesdays, through December 31, 2020. As part of the Museums for All program, any visitor with a state-issued EBT card (known as a LINK card) is eligible for a reduced parking fee rate of $10 per passenger vehicle. Must show valid EBT card upon entry. One card per vehicle. Present proof of eligibility at the entry gatehouse. No preregistration necessary.
The Chicago Public Library offers Kids' Museum Passports to a number of public institutions, including the Chicago Botanic Garden. To learn about the program, visit the CPL Bibliocommons. Present proof of eligibility at the entry gatehouse. No preregistration necessary.
Parking fees are included in the preregistration fees for school groups. Parking fees are not included for special events.
A free electric vehicle charging station is available at the rear of parking lot 1, and can accommodate two vehicles at a time. It is easily located with the ChargePoint app.
