History

The NCH2 Network was formed following the 2014 Symposium titled “Nature, Culture, and Human Health”.  The 2014 symposium was a product of the Cook County Forest Preserves’ Centennial and the Next Century Conservation Plan. One goal of the Next Century Conservation Plan is to encourage more people to engage with nature by educating them about the health benefits of nature.
