Vintage Jazz, Western Swing

Tasty vintage jazz and western swing from three powerful-voiced females and the best instrumentalists in Chicago. Welcome to the Teflons! The band members hail from theatre productions, jug bands and jazz combos for a knock-your-socks-off composite sound that’s been heard onstage at Chicago’s Millennium Park and at fests and clubs across the Midwest. Stir it up with Barbara Silverman's striking vocals and sock rhythm guitar, Gail Tyler's clear voice and Eugenia Elliott's delicious honky tonk yodel. Add the haunting fiddle of Rick Veras (who appeared with Patsy Montana and Rocky Stone) and the incredible talent of Stevie Doyle on dobro and mandolin, iconic member of the Hoyle Brothers who has played all over the United States and abroad. With washboard wizardry, rich solos and stunning harmonies, The Teflons shine.
